Terms of Service
Effective February 24, 2026
Ninkashi, Inc. (“Ninkashi,” “we,” “us”) provides a ticketing platform that event organizers use to sell tickets through their own branded websites. These terms cover both ticket buyers and event organizers.
What Ninkashi does
Ninkashi is the technology platform behind the ticketing page. We process transactions and deliver confirmations. The event itself is organized, managed, and run by the organizer, not by Ninkashi. Think of us as the register, not the venue.
For ticket buyers
Ticket purchases
When you buy a ticket, you are entering into a transaction with the event organizer. Ninkashi facilitates the payment through Stripe. You will receive an email confirmation with your ticket details.
Tickets are subject to availability. Event details (e.g., dates, times, venue, line-up) are set by the organizer and may change.
Gift cards
Gift cards are purchased from and redeemable with the issuing organizer only. Gift cards are non-refundable, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred to another organizer. Check your gift card email for any expiration terms set by the organizer.
Service fees
Some ticket purchases may include a service fee. When applicable, the fee is shown before you complete your purchase. Fee structures vary by organizer.
Refunds and cancellations
Each event organizer sets their own refund policy. If you need a refund, contact the organizer directly; their contact information is in your confirmation email. If the organizer cancels an event, they are responsible for issuing refunds.
Ninkashi does not independently issue refunds for events we do not organize. If you are unable to reach the organizer, email info@ninkashi.com, and we will do our best to help.
Age-restricted events
Some events may display an age restriction (e.g., 21+). This information is set by the organizer. Ninkashi does not verify your age at the time of purchase; the organizer is responsible for enforcing age requirements at the door.
For event organizers
Platform access
By creating an organizer account, you agree to use the platform in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of your event listings, pricing, and any age restriction or content advisories.
Payments and fees
Ticket revenue is routed to your Stripe Connect account. Ninkashi may charge service fees on a per-transaction basis, a subscription basis, or a combination, as agreed in your organizer agreement. Fee details are provided separately and are not part of these public terms.
Customer data
When customers purchase tickets to your events, we share their name and email with you for guest list management. If a customer opts in to marketing emails, you may use their email for future communications, subject to applicable laws and your own privacy policy. You must honor unsubscribe requests promptly.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload (e.g., event descriptions, images, branding). By uploading content, you grant Ninkashi a license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the platform. You must have the rights to all content you upload.
Refund responsibility
You are responsible for setting and honoring your own refund policy. If you cancel an event, you are responsible for refunding ticket buyers. Ninkashi may facilitate refunds through Stripe at your direction.
Acceptable use
Do not use the platform to engage in fraud, resell tickets in violation of the organizer's policies, scrape data, or interfere with the operation of the service. Ninkashi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
Ninkashi provides the platform “as is.” We are not responsible for the event itself, including cancellations, changes, or the quality of the experience. For ticket buyers, our liability is limited to the amount of any service fees paid to Ninkashi (not the ticket price, which goes to the organizer). For organizers, our liability is limited to the fees you paid to Ninkashi in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Intellectual property
The Ninkashi platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Ninkashi, Inc. Organizers' content and branding remain their own property.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
