This policy is from Ninkashi, Inc., the ticketing platform powering this site.
Privacy Policy
Effective February 24, 2026
Ninkashi, Inc. (“Ninkashi,” “we,” “us”) operates a ticketing platform that event organizers use to sell tickets through their own branded websites. This policy covers both ticket buyers and event organizers who use our platform.
For ticket buyers
What we collect
When you purchase a ticket, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and billing information. Your payment details (card number, expiration, CVC) go directly to Stripe (opens in new tab), our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
If you purchase a gift card, we also collect the recipient's name, email address, and any personal message you include.
We collect technical data automatically: your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referral source, and browsing path.
Email opt-in at checkout
During checkout, you may be given the option to receive email updates from the event organizer. If you opt in, your email is shared with the organizer for marketing purposes. The organizer is responsible for how they contact you and for providing a way to unsubscribe. This opt-in is separate from the transactional emails (like your order confirmation) that Ninkashi sends directly.
How we use your information
- Process your purchase and send confirmation emails
- Share your name and email with the event organizer so they can manage their guest list and contact you about your event
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, event updates, gift card delivery) via Amazon SES
- Track purchase activity through Segment to understand platform usage in aggregate
- Record page views to improve the platform experience and diagnose issues
Analytics
Ninkashi uses Segment (opens in new tab) to track purchase events (ticket and gift card sales) in aggregate. This data helps us understand platform-wide trends but is not used to target you with advertising.
Event organizers may also enable Google Analytics on their ticketing pages. These tools are configured by the organizer, not by Ninkashi, and operate under Google's privacy policy (opens in new tab). You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (opens in new tab).
Who we share your data with
Ninkashi is a platform, not an event organizer. When you buy a ticket, your name and email are shared with the organizer who runs the event. If you opted in to marketing emails, the organizer may also use your email for future communications. Each organizer is responsible for how they use your information beyond the transaction.
We also share data with service providers:
- Stripe: payment processing
- Amazon Web Services: platform hosting, transactional email delivery (SES), and file storage (S3)
- Segment: aggregated purchase analytics
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from organizer marketing emails by contacting the organizer directly
- Opt out of Google Analytics as described above
- Request deletion of your personal information by emailing us
For event organizers
What we collect
When you create an organizer account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business address, and venue information. We also collect your Stripe Connect account details so we can route payments to you. IP addresses are logged when you log in.
How we use your information
- Provide the platform: host your ticketing pages, process transactions, and deliver customer data to you
- Route payments through Stripe Connect to your connected account
- Send operational emails: purchase notifications, account updates, and platform communications
Your role as data controller
When customers buy tickets to your events, Ninkashi processes their data on your behalf. You are the data controllerfor your customers' information; Ninkashi acts as a data processor. You are responsible for:
- How you use customer data we provide to you (guest lists, email marketing)
- Complying with applicable privacy laws for your customers
- Honoring unsubscribe requests from customers who opted in to your emails
Event images and content
Images and content you upload to the platform are stored on Amazon S3. This content may be publicly accessible on your ticketing pages.
Cookies
We use cookies for essential functions like maintaining your session during checkout. Organizer accounts use session cookies for login. Organizers may also enable analytics cookies (Google Analytics) on their ticketing pages as described above.
Data retention
We retain purchase records and account information for as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations (tax records, dispute resolution, financial reporting). IP addresses from logins and page views are retained as part of platform operations. You can request deletion of your personal information by contacting us; some data may be retained where required by law.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Payment information is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers. Passwords are stored using one-way hashing (bcrypt). We make reasonable efforts to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
California privacy rights
California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request its deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. (We do not sell your data.) To exercise these rights, email info@ninkashi.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
